Ars Helvetica: A Winter Itinerary Through the Swiss Art Circuit
The Swiss are known for their precision of affairs, efficiency of manner and their intricate financial systems. Naturally, the most analytical art exhibitions follow. Whether you're taking a break from skiing the Alpine slopes, stopping in town to open a Swiss banking account or simply passing through on a longer journey, do not miss these three exhibitions in Zurich and Basel this winter.

Venice Fog: Recent Investigations
19.01.2018-03.03.2018
Hauser & Wirth's Zurich branch presents recent works in laminated glass by influential California artist Larry Bell. The cubic works are Bell's interpretation of the phenomena caused by the light, fog and water in Los Angeles, based on the colour combinations observed in Venice, California, where he has been based since the 1960s. Decidedly pedagogic in his approach, Bell has said: "Artists don't have to fit into the objective logic of the rest of the world. We can perform in any way we see fit, as long as our work teaches us something every day."
