Casa De La Higuera in Valencia — A Collaborative Project by Estudio En Hebra
Casa De La Higuera (The Fig Tree House) is a small apartment in the historical center of Valencia, featuring a marvelous courtyard that fills the entire space with indirect light. The natural textures of the interior evoke an elegant balance between tradition and handwork. Details are simple yet refined. Lighting sources are almost invisible, avoiding glare, and significantly enhancing comfort.
This house, with a central-European style, creates a cozy and intimate atmosphere in the private areas (night rooms) and opens itself to an ample space with industrial notes in common areas. Oak millwork lines flowing throughout the residence create a sense of continuity and invite to soothing sensations.
For this project, Estudio En Hebra collaborated with other local design branches, artists, and sculptors to create different interior atmospheres. The collaboration aimed to achieve a similar synergy as one could find in an art gallery, leading to open and clean spaces. Through curating essential products across creative fields, the living space becomes alive and escalates contemporary living standards.
