A couple of months ago in Antwerp, our team met with designer Ben Storms. Surrounded by some of his most innovative pieces, tending to defy gravity and traditional perceptions of matters, we took the time to reflect on his creative process and the way he became a master of novelty in marble design.
A couple of months ago, BRUT made its debut during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. They are now showing a variation of the presentation at KANAL (Centre Pompidou) in Brussels as part of the exhibition Between Art and Design : The Belgian Scene.
BRUT is a new collective of six emerging Belgian designers - Ben Storms, Bram Vanderbeke, Cédric Etienne, Charlotte Jonckheer, Linde Freya Tangelder & Nel Verbeke - making its début during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, 2018.
