The Vibrancy of Eclectic Design: Blue House Curated by Morgwn Rimel and House of Grey
As a cultural innovator, multidisciplinary creative and expert in wellbeing Morgwn Rimel worked on several projects making the promotion of health and emotional intelligence. She notably took an important role in the development of The School of Life and founded Superculture, her own culture design studio.
Taking place in a space designed by West Architecture, Blue House is her first interior design project and was created in collaboration with Louisa Grey, founder of House of Grey, as part of IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD. While Grey gave life to an elegant house filled with monochromatic tones, Rimel and Grey took a slightly different approach by embracing contrasts and diversity.
The space became a playful and eclectic assemblage. Including iconic pieces by Muller Van Severen, the house offered a rich landscape of colour and textures. A space where peacefulness and leisure could be experienced through the multiplicity of the surroundings.
Featuring work by:
Muller Van Severen for valerie_objects, Paustian, Sabine Marcelis, Dinosaur Designs, Emily Forgot, John Booth for The Wrong Shop Editions, Dirk Van Der Kooij, Phil Cuttance, Barnaby Reynolds , Atelier Ternier, Atelier Areti, Kirsten Hecktermann, Beton Brut and Notting Hill Editions. Both homes will feature botanical design by Urban Flower Co. with sound design by Playlister and Urbanears. Utopian scentscapes by The School of Life.
